Newborn Shooting should ideally be scheduled in the second trimester of pregnancy, which guarantees its place in our agenda.
Scheduling the newborn shooting date in advance will guarantee your place even if the baby is born too early or takes a little longer to arrive, depending on the expected birth date.

Until the 5th day after birth, the baby is still adapting to breastfeeding and the parents are also adapting to the baby’s arrival at home. Therefore, the ideal is to carry out the Newborn shooting between 10 and 20 days after the newborn is born. During this period, the newborn is still more flexible and better accepts positions that resemble those he had when he was in his mother’s womb, as his muscles are not yet completely firm, and in general he has a longer and deeper sleep cycle. Also the newborn is less likely to have cramps, which usually appear from the 16th day onwards.

If the baby was born prematurely, we must wait a little longer to do the Newborn shooting, until the baby gains a little more weight. Only in this case, the ideal is to carry out the Newborn test between 30 and 40 days after the baby’s birth. It is important to highlight that when photos are taken with a baby after 30 days, the baby, even though premature, will already have firmer muscles, this can make some positioning difficult.

As soon as your baby is born (no later than the 3rd day after birth), parents must notify me and I will then check whether the date that was pre-scheduled fits or whether it will be necessary to schedule a new date between the 10th and the 20th day after the baby is born to carry out the Newborn shooting.
I only accept a limited number of newborns per month to make sure I can arrange an alternative date for your Newborn shooting in case if necessary. If you don’t get in touch, I’ll assume that your baby hasn’t been born yet and I might reallocate the date for other babies.

In the Newborn shootings held here at the studio, we photograph the newborn and his family. This is a wonderful way to capture the loving interaction between newborn and parents, creating memories that last a lifetime.

We will always have a personalized posing plan for your baby’s newborn session. The safety and comfort of babies will always be respected. If there is a photo in my portfolio that you as mom liked and would like to see reproduced with your newborn, please send me a print of that specific photo via WhatsApp. We can try to reproduce, but it is important to emphasize that the newborn is the one “in charge” of the session and the poses that will be done.
There are some babies who don’t accept certain poses, but that’s okay, don’t worry, I promise to capture beautiful images of your little miracle.
The most important thing of all is that the newborn is comfortable and safe, that the experience is good for the whole family, and that this moment is recorded and immortalized for future generations. Therefore, everything will be done with great tranquility, love and affection and using knowledge about the anatomy and physiology of the newborn focused on newborn photography.

The shooting lasts on average two to four hours, this time may be longer or shorter depending on each newborn. Therefore, do not schedule any other appointments after the shooting, so that we have enough time to carry out the shooting calmly and relaxed.

If you want to style yourself, these are our recommendations:
– only wear subtle make-up
– please do not use self-tanner.
– emphasize the eyes with warm tones (beige, brown, gold)
– apply extra volume mascara to your eyelashes
– use subtle lipstick (beige, nude, pink tones)
– wear your hair slightly curled or straightened

– well-groomed fingernails and toenails (also for your partner and children)

– neutral nails (nude, baby boom)

– style your eyebrows

– wash and dry your hair either on the day of the shooting or at most one day before

– please come without makeup when you choose to be prepared by one of our partner make-up artists

– we provide the digital photos with watermarks (digital proof with copyright) within 7 working days after the shoot in an online gallery in low resolution via a transfer link.

– after selecting the photos in the online gallery, you will receive the edited and finalized digital photos in high resolution (without watermarks) for download via a transfer link within 20 working days after selection in teh online gallery

– If necessary, we will send the printed photos to your home address by post within 10 working days of providing the final download link

– Due to the large amount of work involved, we do not pre-edit the photos when published in the online gallery
