A Cake Smash shoot is a fun photo shooting specially designed to celebrate a baby’s first birthday. It is a record of the baby’s reaction when having his first contact with the flavor and texture of a cake. Fun moments in which we can capture the genuine expression and joy of babies as they enjoy the sensory experience of touching, playing and eating the cake, resulting in happy, funny photos, showing the child’s fun and curiosity in discovering and exploring something so colorful and delicious.

Ideally, the Cake Smash Shooting should be carried out when the baby turns 11 months old. This way, the photos will be delivered before the first birthday and can be used as party favors, birthday party decorations or entrance boards.

Many mothers and fathers don’t like the idea of ​​giving their children something with sugar, such as candied cakes. So we offer the option of the Fruit Smash Shooting. In this case, the sugary cake is replaced by fruit that can be consumed by children without restrictions.
Just like Cake Smash, the Fruit Smash Shooting allows babies to experience a moment of experimentation.
The baby touches the fruit, gets to know its different textures and tries new flavors. In many photos the little ones appear with cute and funny faces when tasting a sour lemon, for example.

To ensure the baby’s comfort, cooperation and safety, in addition to contributing to more naturally beautiful and meaningful photos, it is essential that these shootings are scheduled at times when the baby is most active and happy, usually after a nap or feeding.

– only wear subtle make-up
– please do not use self-tanner.
– emphasize the eyes with warm tones (beige, brown, gold)
– apply extra volume mascara to your eyelashes
– use subtle lipstick (beige, nude, pink tones)
– wear your hair slightly curled or straightened

– well-groomed fingernails and toenails (also for your partner and children)

– wash and dry your hair either on the day of the shooting or at most one day before
– please come without makeup when you choose to be prepared by one of our partner make-up artists

– we provide the digital photos with watermarks (digital proof with copyright) within 7 working days after the shoot in an online gallery in low resolution via a transfer link.
– after selecting the photos in the online gallery, you will receive the edited and finalized digital photos in high resolution (without watermarks) for download via a transfer link within 20 working days after selection in teh online gallery
– If necessary, we will send the printed photos to your home address by post within 10 working days of providing the final download link
– Due to the large amount of work involved, we do not pre-edit the photos when published in the online gallery
